Aluminum Disc Circle Blanks Packing Methods
Aluminum disc circle blanks need to be packed in tic-tac-toe frame fixed by steel wires. They must be wrapped by cloth. The purpose of such a careful packing is to keep aluminum circle blanks from scratches, damages or oxidation.
The tic-tac-toe frame is usually made of wood, consisting of four wood battens with two above and the other two below. The bottom battens should be far enough from the ground so that the lift vehicle can work on the frame smoothly. The head battens should be of arc shape and fixed together with the bottom battens by thread rods. Before being placed into the frame, the aluminum disc circles must be wrapped by strong cloth of medium or weak acid property. The top and end circles should be covered with soft pads which protect the blanks from being scratched, and the connecting parts of the cloth edges should be fixed by adhesive tapes. Then the circles are further wrapped together with the packing list and drying agent by a piece of plastic cloth, the edges of which must also be fixed by gummed tapes. After that, a layer of hard board is applied to cover around the packed discs. The connecting edges of the hard board and possible gaps among the edges must also be fixed with tapes as well. Finally the wrapped and packed aluminum circle blanks are placed into the tic-tac-toe frame which will be fastened by strong steel wires. At the top a packaging notice should be placed. The content should include loading weight of the frame and the box, the packing cost, delivery methods, unloading notice etc.
