Strengths&Weaknesses of Perforated Aluminum Ceiling Tiles

In modern interior decoration ceiling tiles have become an indispensable part. Among numerous materials for ceiling tiles, aluminum ceiling is winning increasing popularity owing to excellent moisture proof performance and long service life. Following steel tiles perforated aluminum ceiling tiles are playing an important role. Many aluminum product manufacturers tend to boast advantages of aluminum ceiling tiles but cast a veil over their weaknesses. The fact is that no product in the world is perfect, and the tiles have both strengths and weaknesses.

Perforated aluminum ceiling tiles have long service life. Superior tiles last 50 years, much longer than most houses which will be usually torn down within decades. They have excellent resistance to fire, moisture and static electricity. As a result, it’s easy to clean them. Dust can be removed by a simple dry piece of cleaning cloth, and normally stains will not appear on the ceiling surfaces. Even though there are some stains, they can be removed completely by a piece of wet cloth with cheapest cleaning agents. An aluminium ceiling tile has such a good texture and high grade that it matches perfectly wall panels and kitchen cupboards of various styles. In addition, aluminium tiles weigh much less than either pottery tiles or tiles of other metals. This is a great advantage as a product to be suspended overhead.
The weaknesses of perforated aluminum ceiling tiles include stricter installation standards, poorer seam abutting and fewer styles. In installing aluminum tiles, the operator must keep extreme flatness of tile surfaces and the whole ceiling. In comparison to plastic steel ceilings, aluminum tiles have a poorer seam abutting effect, less models and fewer styles.
