Aluminium Mirror Sheet Substrate and Film

Different brands of aluminium mirror sheet products are made of differed types of substrate and values of thickness. Here is a general introduction.
Film Types
Commonly applied film types in the industry include LG high gloss films, other imported films and domestic films.

LG high gloss films are bright, changeable and lasting in color, soft in feeling, rich in design and resistant to moisture, corrosion and fire. They are the best films existing in the industry, boasting light weight, convenient maintenance and extraordinary environmental friendliness. In spite of high prices, LG high gloss films for reflective aluminum sheetpieces last two or three decades, much longer than other types.
Other imported films include pear gloss films and LG pear gloss films. The latter performs better in improving properties and extending service life of aluminium mirror sheet.
Domestic films include domestic pear gloss films and other films. The thickness is usually between 0.1mm and 0.3mm.
Thicker substrates gives a feeling of broadness, but it’s misleading to believe that a substrate should be as thick as possible. Generally 0.6mm is enough, though some famous brands have substrates of 0.7mm thick. The simplest way to judge the thickness of a reflective aluminum sheet is to shake it. Thin sheets sways easily yet thick sheets not. However, not all thick sheets are of thick substrates. Sometimes the thickness of film of a sheet is even bigger than that of the substrate, and you can make a judgement by observing the cutting section of the sheet, but accurate thicknesses of films and substrates can only be obtained by using a ruler.

Diamond Embossed Aluminum Sheet Application

The  diamond embossed aluminum sheet  refers to aluminium sheets with diamond patterns on the surface.
