Aluminium Roofing Sheet Thickness and Classification
The aluminium roofing sheet has a simple structure, and the sheet is continuously bent and formed by a green frame building material bending machine, and a decorative paint can be sprayed on the surface thereof. Because of its good plasticity, aluminium roofing sheet can better adapt to the requirements of various architectural styles with beautiful appearance, good color durability and excellent environmental effect.
Thickness of Aluminium Roofing Sheet:
Regular thickness offered by aluminium sheet suppliers are 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm and 5.0mm. These specifications are similar to those of aluminum veneers. Some purchasers order thinner sheets in pursuit of lower cost and generally buyers can customize thickness to meet varied market and application needs.
Classification of Aluminium Roofing Sheet:
Aluminium roofing sheet is usually classified according to application areas, plate type wave heights, lap joint structures and materials. The common classification methods are as below:
(1) According to the application part classification - divided into roofing panels, wall panels, floor panels and ceiling panels. In the use, the color coated aluminium roofing sheet is used as the wall decoration board, and the architectural decoration effect is relatively novel and unique.
(2) According to the wave height classification - divided into high wave plate (wave height ≥ 70mm), medium wave plate (wave height <70mm) and low wave plate (wave height <30mm)
(3) According to the material classification of the substrate - it is divided into hot-dip galvanized substrate, hot-dip aluminum zinc and hot-dip galvanized aluminum substrate.
(4) Classification according to the seam structure - divided into lap joint, undercut and buckle structure. The middle and high wave plates with undercut and buckled should be used as roof panels with high waterproof requirements; the galvanized plates with overlapping middle and high wave plates are used for floor coverings; the lapped low wave plates should be used as wall panels.
