Reflectivity of aluminum metal strips

It may be a little strange to relate reflectivity with aluminum metal strips, because the word accompanies aluminum mirror sheet more frequently. The truth is that reflectivity of an aluminum strip has an influence on its application scope. The aluminum strip is obtained by rolling of pure or alloyed aluminum, widely applied in industries of aerospace, construction, printing and pharmaceutics.
Bright aluminum metal strips have high reflectivity.
The purity of aluminum metal strips has a direct influence on their reflectivity. The purity of aluminum metal strips refer to the content share of aluminum element in a bulk of aluminum metal strips. With a smooth surface, the aluminum strip has a good reflectivity. The brighter is the surface, the higher the reflectivity is. When there are impurities in the strip, its reflectivity will decline because the impurities will have a function of scattering. The raw material of aluminum metal strips include cold or hot rolled coil rolls of pure or alloyed aluminum. The rolls are further rolled into thinner rolls of a given thickness and a given width, and then cut into strips of the desired width. The reflectivity of an aluminum strip is up to the gloss finish of its surface as well. Strip rolls with rough surfaces reflect light differently with variation of light wave length. The longer the wave, the higher the reflectivity.
The reflectivity of aluminum metal strips are influenced by their purity and gloss finish of the surface. Aluminum strip rolls have become ubiquitous in our daily life. They are raw materials for transformer winding, high-frequency hollow welded strips, heat exchangers, cables, aluminum edges etc. At present, the raw materials for electronic products are no longer purely dependent on copper strips. Since the conductivity of aluminum is only lower than that of copper, the replacement of copper strips by aluminum strips is becoming a popular trend in the world.
