1060 Aluminum Strip for Transformer Winding Features

The 1060 aluminum strip for transformer winding is divided into different grades, specifications and states. The grades are 1060, 1050, 1050A, 1060, 1070, 1070A and 1350, and the state is mainly O which represents a soft state, and the degree of hardness. The degree of annealing can be indicated by numbers. With a thickness between 0.08 and 3.00, the 1060 aluminum strip for transformer is also called aluminum tape and foil for dry transformers.

　　1060 aluminum strip, which contains more than 99.6% aluminum, is also called pure aluminum strip. It belongs to a common series in the aluminum strip family. The aluminum ribbon and foil for dry-type transformers are made of high-quality pure aluminum. They have a high electrical conductivity and a soft texture. The surface is smooth and burr-free. As an ideal material for the production of dry-type transformers and a key raw material for manufacturing transformer winding, its production entail high process technologies in burr curling, side bending and surface quality.
　　The 1060 aluminum strip for transformer is made of pure aluminum. Pure aluminum has a low density (ρ=2.7g/cm3), about 1/3 of iron, and has a low melting point (660°C). Aluminum is a face-centered cubic structure, so it has a high plasticity (δ: 32~40%, ψ: 70~90%), easy to process, can be made into various profiles and plates, good corrosion resistance; but the strength of pure aluminum is very low, the annealing state σb value is about 8kgf/mm2, so it is not suitable for structural materials. The price of 1060 aluminum strip is about 20 yuan and 1 kilogram. According to the annealing state of the aluminum strip, the aluminum strip can be divided into full soft (o state) semi-hard (H24) full hard (h18). At present, the most commonly used ones should belong to the all-soft series, because the O-state is easier to stretch and bend. The general specifications are: thickness 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, etc. Normal width include 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 300, etc. Of course, there is also a whole piece of aluminum foil, such as 0.1*1000* 2000, that is 0.1mm thick, 1000mm wide, 2000mm long.
