Polished aluminium checker plate
A polished aluminium checker plate is bright in surface and beautiful in appearance. Regular alloys include 3003, 5052 and 6061. Such a sheet is usually made into items and appliances requiring cleaning periodically. Its thickness can be 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and up to 8mm. Width and length can be customized, commonly below 1800 and 16000 respectively. We have sizes of 3mm x 1000mm x 2000mm and 3mm x 1250mm x 2500m.
Aluminum checker plates of all pattern designs can be made into polished sheets theoretically, but only those for decoration and reflection are processed in this way, for polishing adds cost to a sheet. The most popular type of reflective checkered plates falls on hammer embossed aluminium sheet applied as the reflective cover of lamps and cameras. The second is five-bar or 1 bar plates, used for either anti-slip or decorative purposes. They are made into shelves carrying items in super markets and hospitals, table housing in parks and neighborhoods, and escalator sidings in shopping malls etc. Another is polishing aluminum diamond plate, whose rate is second only to five bar plates in searching engines. Products made of such a sheet are of little anti-skid function, for its patterns are shallow. Similar patterns incorporate ripple, rice, stucco and so on, developed more for decoration than for slip resistance.
Polished aluminium checker plates feature light weight, shiny surface, good corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. Chemical polishing serves checkered plates better for it keeps original patterns well. Polished plates go through an anodizing process to obtain stronger hardness in surface, which extends the shininess as long as possible. Moderate cleaning agents and wet cloth are enough for the cleaning work. No cleaning objects with harsh surfaces are recommended for they might destroy anodizing and oxidizing films on the sheet surface.
