Embossed Aluminum Sheets With Triple Rice Grain Pattern

Embossed aluminum sheets with triple rice grain pattern belongs to aluminum sheets of both anti-skid and decorative abilities. It proves to be less popular because its pattern is less frequently applied than diamond or five bars. Embossed aluminum sheets are obtained by further processing of aluminum base plates with rollers of wanted patterns. They are widely applied as anti-slip panels for floors of buildings, vehicles and ships, decoration strips for stairs, and coverage for furniture.

Embossed aluminum sheets have two basic functions in application: anti-slip and decoration. This is closely related to patterns of a sheet. Generally speaking, aluminum sheets with diamond, five-bar, one-bar and triple rice grain are more commonly used in anti-skid, because the patterns are relatively big and rough. While smaller and more graceful patterns, such as pebbles, stucco, orange peal and so on, are more suitable for decoration. There are occasions, however, when sheets with triple rice grain pattern are used for decoration, since the initial aim of people inventing embossed aluminum sheets was to make the sheets more applicable and attractive.

Base plates for embossed aluminum sheet with triple rice grain pattern can be 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx or 6xxx. 1xxx series is the cheapest and softest. 3xxx and 5xxx have better performance in hardness and corrosion resistance, and 6xxx shows the lightest weight, highest tensile strength, strongest anti-corrosion ability and best painting adaptability. Needless to say, it’s more expensive than the other three.
