They are featured by low strength, good elongation and excellent deep drawing property. Manufacturing processes for 1xxx aluminum rolls and sheets are more mature than that for other series, thus 1xxx aluminum discs cost less in raw material. Sometimes 3003, 3004 and 3005 are applied as well. 3xxx series of circle aluminum plates have a higher strength than aluminium circle 1050, and boast stronger corrosion resistance, because they contain a corrosion resistant metal of manganese. With increasingly advanced manufacturing technology, 5005 aluminium is used as a raw material for high end aluminum discs that will be made into high pressure cookers.
