AA1100 aluminum coil advantages
The aa1100 aluminum coil is generally used in heat sinks, caps, printing plates, building materials, heat exchanging components and deep drawing products. It is widely used in various fields from cookware to industrial equipment. Its advantages are as below.
1. Low density and improvable hardness
The density of the 1100 aluminum coil is 2.7 KG/dm 3 . About 35% of iron. Pure aluminum can be more than doubled in strength by cold working, and can be further strengthened by heat treatment by adding an alloy of magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, silicon, lithium, lanthanum, etc., and its strength can be compared with that of alloy steel.
2. Easy processing and corrosion resistant
The aa1100 aluminum coil can be cast by any of the casting methods. Its plasticity is good, and most machine tools can reach the maximum speed for machining such as turning, milling, boring and planing. If the aluminum is below zero, the strength and plasticity will not decrease, but will increase. The aluminum plate has strong corrosion resistance. The surface of aluminum and its alloys will easily form a dense and strong protective film of AL2O3 (aluminum oxide). This protective film will only be stimulated by halogen ions or alkali ions. Therefore, aluminum has a good resistance to atmospheric (including industrial atmosphere, and marine atmosphere) corrosion and water corrosion.
3. Good conductivity and strong reflectivity
The electrical conductivity of aa1100 aluminum coil is very good, second only to silver, copper and gold. The polished surface of aluminum has a white reflectance of more than 80%, and the higher the purity, the higher the reflectance. At the same time, aluminum has good reflection properties for infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, electromagnetic waves and heat radiation.
4. Other advantages
The 1100 aluminum coil is non-magnetic, with good sound absorption, nuclear radiation resistance, aesthetics etc.
