Features of 1100 aluminum coil
1100 aluminum coil is made of industrial pure aluminum, the aluminum content of which is 99.00%. It has good heat and electricity conductivity, low density, good plasticity and low hardness, and it can not be heat-treated, usually used for products requiring good forming and processing properties, high corrosion resistance, and requiring little about strength, such as storage devices for food and chemicals, sheet metal products, hollow hardware for rolling and rolling, and welding combination keys, reflectors, nameplates, etc.
The 1100 aluminum coil has high corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. In terms of thermal conductivity, copper is 0.90 aluminum is 0.503, thermal conductivity is copper 386W/MK aluminum 198W/MK; very obvious, copper effect is much better than aluminum. However, the price of copper itself is relatively high, and it is relatively soft. It cannot be casted, but can only be manufactured by “drawing” or machining. The thermal conductivity of the alloy is inferior to that of pure metal. Generally speaking, materials with good electrical conductivity have good thermal conductivity. If some parts require a lot of heat absorption or heat dissipation during use, use materials with good thermal conductivity, such as aluminum and copper. The 1100 aluminum coil is also one of them.
The 1100 aluminum coil has low density and good plasticity. It can be made into various aluminum products through pressure processing, but its strength is low, the melting point is low, and the wear resistance is poor. It is not suitable for mechanical parts with force, and can be used for various cold and hot processing.
