1060 aluminum circle for cooking utensils
1060 aluminum circle for cooking utensils has an aluminium content of 99.6%, known as one of the most popular grades of the aluminium industry. Simpler process and maturer technique enable manufacturers to supply 1060 aluminum circle at a low price. Good elongation and tensile strength of the disc circle meet regular stamping and stretching requirements in further processes.

Mechanical properties of 1060 circle make it an excellent material for aluminum circle for cooking utensils. The circle is light in weight, high in strength, good in plasticity, outstanding in conductivity and strong in corrosion resistance. In addition, it has excellent deep drawing and spinning properties, used extensively in kitchen utensils like pots, strainers, kettles, pans and buckets. Chemically it gets oxidized easily. In the air, aluminum is easy to combine with oxidation to form a dense aluminum oxide film (thickness about 0.1-0.2μm) whose melting point (about 2050 ℃) far exceeds that of aluminum and aluminum alloys (about 600 ° C). The density of alumina is from 3.95 to 4.10 g / cm3, which is about 1.4 times that of aluminum. The surface of the alumina film easily absorbs moisture. It hinders the fusion of basic metals and cause degradation of the aluminium round sheet’s welding performance. Thus the aluminium disc is seldom used in products need welding.
